Re-Opening Packages Available!

Many thanks to the OkanaganAdvertiser for its excellent coverage of our business and community support initiatives, as well as the overture we have made to the Pandemic Community Recover Select Committee to provide assistance, as well. We hope to work closely with the committee soon to help Enderby recover safely and effectively!
Member businesses can contact us at info@enderbychamber.com to receive their industry and business-personalized re-opening package, full of tips, tricks, the latest data from WorkSafe BC and the PHO of BC, as well as leading approaches aggregated from successful countries worldwide… all designed to help Enderby & District Businesses re-open with confidence and provide the best level of safety and service to their clients.

Personalized Business Re-Open Packages

As part of our ongoing service to our member businesses, the Enderby & District Chamber of Commerce is offering packages of the latest, verified advice, legislation, best practices and recommendations by Interior Health, WorkSafe BC, The Province of BC and federal sources.

Tailored to your industry, these packages will save your business hours of combing through internet links, files and articles, some of which are less than current. Our Re-Opening Packages also offer handy infographics (brandable by your business), links to discounted vinyl stickies for floors and walls, tips and tricks for controlling traffic flow and a complete set of Employer and Employee Paperwork (including an up-to-date health checklist, attendance, symptom record charts and time of day charts for incident reports in store/workfloor).

In addition, contact us today about connecting with a local company currently developing automatic door control for capacity of buildings and offices, saving your employees the headache of working and having to run to control customer flow at the door of your shop!

Whether you are in heavy industry, logging, agriculture, hospitality, or have one of our many integral home-based businesses looking to return to markets and summer sales, become a member of the EDCC today, and join the many local businesses who have streamlined their re-opening with our thoughtfully prepared packages.

Stage Your Re-Opening the Right Way

Join the Enderby & Chamber of Commerce in a seminar  on May 19, 2020 at 3:30 pm about best provincial, regional and local guidelines to re-opening your business. With a wealth of resources amassed and expert advice from WorkBC and Interior Health, this seminar will save you time and stress as you plan your re-opening.  Instead of pouring over hours and hours of pdfs, scrolling updates and websites with less than clear information, attend our seminar and let our aggregated, organized data get you started faster, better, and safer.

With a general overview across industries, we will spend part of the seminar addressing industry specific queries and approaches.  Members throughout our #OkWeGotThis are are welcome to attend. Let us know that you found us with OkWeGotThis initiatives and have your name entered into a draw to have your query answered at the seminar!

Attendance is free; however, we will be focusing on questions from our member businesses first. In addition, packages featuring pdf infographics, printable announcement and safety signs, guidelines and a paperwork package including employee health records, contact tracing database kits for computer and paper use will be available for a nominal fee. Take advantage of our expertise to get the complete re-opening kit for your business, and get your questions answered by Clyde MacGregor, the General Manager of the EDCC, who has spent over 150 hours aggregating best practices for your workplace and industry.

Small Business Town Hall with Provincial Opposition

We ask all interested small businesses to attend this tele- town hall with the MLA from Vancouver/Quilchena, so that our region’s voices can be heard. Taking place on May 5th, you have to reserve your seat with Eventbrite (using link below). Come out on May 5th and share your experiences and your needs with the Province! If our region is not represented by individual business owners, we cannot leverage the kind of assistance that is so important for our unique and beautiful corner of BC.
